MJ Coupled Joint

The MJ Coupled joint is a restrained mechanical joint alternative to gripping style MJ restraints. It is offered in 3”-54” pipe sizes for ductile iron piping systems. The joint consists of a bar welded to the ductile iron pipe, one MJ gland, one special MJ gland, and special bolts/nuts to accommodate the installation of the thrust restraint. This joint is commonly used for connection to buried mechanical joint valves and/or fittings.
